Wednesday Night

Thursday afternoon the snack bar will be open. Please bring cash or check. Proceeds will go toward next
year’s eighth grade trip.

Friday

WHO: ALL families; ALL students required in the morning.
Students will follow their school schedule from 8:30 – 12:00 noon (arrive between 8:00 and
8:20 in the north parking lot). Students and children in childcare should bring their lunch. New supplies should
be brought on this day.
Childcare (preschool and younger) is available but limited, RSVP to NDunlap@VATucson.com.
Parents will spend the morning learning from moms that recently taught their children through the grade your
child is entering!

8:30 – 12 Practice School Day for All Students (k-5 students should report to room 10)

8:30 – 8:45 Welcome and Instructions (Sanctuary) – Christopher Barnes and Kara Funk

9:00 – 11:45 Co-teacher Training for Parents (Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1825 N Alvernon) – Parents
who taught your child’s grade last year will train you how to be successful at home in the
upcoming year.

12:00 – 12:45 Lunch – Students need to bring their lunches. Lunch will be provided for parents and teachers.
1:00-1:45 Pep Rally (sanctuary) – All parents and students

1:45 – 2:45 Logic of English Training – This class is required for all new 2nd-6th grade parents. Students
are welcome to attend.

Saturday Morning
