Michael and Kimberly Chaffin

Mike and Kim Chaffin are beginning their 5th year at Veritas. They have been married for 18 years and have 2 boys: Josiah (12/8th grade) and Elijah (10/5th grade). Mike and Kim are both from Colorado where they received their Bachelor of Music degrees from the University of Northern Colorado. After moving to Arizona, they both received their Master of Music degrees from the U of A and have since been highly active in the performing arts community in Tucson. From 2006-2013, Mike taught Choir, Musical Theater Workshop, and Music Theory at Pusch Ridge Christian Academy. Since then, Mike has been teaching private voice lessons in his studio called Vocal Edge School of Music, and he is the primary homeschool parent. Kim teaches in TUSD in an arts integration program called OMA (Opening Minds through the Arts) in which she teaches language arts through opera. As a family, the Chaffins love to perform, travel, read, play games, spend time in God’s beautiful creation, and enjoy good food and time with family and friends. They are all very thankful to be a part of the Veritas community and excited to serve alongside fellow brothers and sisters in Christ!
