Western Civ II and Writing & Rhetoric Teacher 8th and 12th Grades
Danielle teaches 10th and 12th grade Western Civ, 8th grade Grammar & Composition, Senior Thesis, and Yearbook. Both originally from Southern California, Danielle and her husband, Travis, recently moved to Tucson because Travis began working as a resident physician in psychiatry at the University of Arizona. Danielle received a MA in English Literature from California State University, Long Beach and a BA in Liberal Studies with multiple emphases in Biblical and Theological Studies, Humanities, and English Literature from Providence Christian College. Danielle has worked previously as an English Literature teacher at another classical high school and most recently worked as the Writing Center Director and an Instructor of English at Providence Christian College. Travis and Danielle love the outdoors, and they spend much of their time together hiking and camping with their dog, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Brioche. With any time she has leftover, Danielle loves to spend it reading British literature, baking and cooking, painting, and writing. She spent a semester abroad studying in England at The University of Oxford, and her dream would be to return there to live and study literature again. Danielle and Travis are very excited to see what’s in store for this next chapter in their lives.
