Mr. Joe Burton

Joe Burton and his wife Debra of 29 years returned to Tucson in 2018. He is a retired Army
Chaplain and Colonel. He holds a Master of Arts in Christian Education and a Master of
Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary in St. Paul Minnesota. Joe has been a substitute
teacher for over 10 years, is new to the Veritas family, and is excited to being part of Veritas
faculty. He has two grown children: Andre and Dmitri, loves to hike, camp, mock, and is an
avid Sci-Fi buff.
