Originally from the state of Iowa, Julia moved with her family to live and work on the Navajo Nation in 2005, and then to Tucson in 2008. She is thankful to have been married for 25 years; she and Thad have 5 children (ages 5-18). She will be teaching biology for the SOR in 2022-2023. Previously employed as a family physician, she now serves only part-time in this role. She enjoys thinking, writing and talking with parents and students about how we can approach the issues of our day through the lens of Biblical truth, seeking to bring glory to God as we do so.
